The Silver Buccle Principal Herald is the primary herald of the Kingdom of Æthelmearc. Silver Buccle's job is to organize the College of Heralds, coordinate with the College of Arms, and preside over Kingdom Court business such as Coronation, Crown Tournament, Baronial Investitures, etc.

As the Principal Herald of one of the host Kingdoms of Pennsic War, Silver Buccle is also responsible for assisting in organizing and executing Opening and Closing Ceremonies at Pennsic

Silver Buccle's term begins at Spring Crown Tournament of odd-numbered years. All Senior Staff and Regional Deputies' terms are concurrent with Silver Buccle's term.
